5. Professional big-picture help
Critique or developmental edit. Revise again.
6. Copyedit
Lock content first. Then language.
7. Formatting
Ebook + print interiors after content freeze.
8. Proofread
Final error hunt on near-final files.
9. Upload QC
- Check front matter, ISBN/ASIN details, categories, keywords
- Download proof files from the store and flip every chapter break
- Verify cover wrap and ebook thumbnail readability
